Is JoinMe free?
Yes. JoinMe is free for everyone. There is no paid tier, no trial, and no payment step.
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
No. Guests open the invite link and reply in seconds - no account, no app download. Only the host needs a free JoinMe account to create the invite.
How do guests RSVP?
They answer yes, maybe or no, say how many people they are bringing, add dietary needs, a note, and answers to whatever the host asked. Every guest gets an edit link, so plans can change without emailing the host.
Does JoinMe sell tickets or take payments?
No. JoinMe does not sell tickets, take payments, or handle money on a host’s behalf.
What is the difference between public, unlisted and private events?
A public event appears in the JoinMe directory and in search results. An unlisted event is reachable only by the link the host shares, and it is kept out of the directory and out of search indexes. A private event works the same way and also withholds its details until the guest enters the invite code.
What does the host get?
The full guest list with a yes / maybe / no summary and CSV export, email invitations with automatic 24-hour reminders, a waitlist that promotes guests when spots open, day-of check-in with per-guest QR codes, date polls, potluck sign-ups, song requests, and a shared photo album.
